Saw 14 does tonight. Only had two come past my stand and I had just pulled my bow up and didn't have my release on yet. There was an oak tree or some other food source about 60 yards away that all the deer were heading to. All in all it was a wonderful afternoon to be in the stand!
Yesterday morning was uneventful. After checking my cams I have them on a pretty good pattern that seems to pass my stand around 7:30 every few days. Just picked the wrong day yesterday.
Sat my second new set yesterday afternoon. New entry exit route worked great, the deer were not willing to participate though. Hope everyone is having better luck than me!
I just shot a 8pt about 10 minutes ago ! I videod the hunt played it back and it looks like a 12 ring

Tons of rain coming through this week on the east coast. Possible tropical storm predicted for the Weekend. May be able to sneak a couple hunts in between the storms.

Oh boy its opening day for ny today... rain supposed to hold off and have some periods of sun during the day... so pumped to finally hit the stand... im on doe patrol tonight. Since its doe only now in ny till the 15th I believe... whichever ill take it
Good luck, be safe out there! I'm in VA so it's looking pretty crappy for the opener but by Sunday evening/night it should start clearing. Hoping for a Monday morning hunt & maybe Tuesday evening but I'm not gonna use much vacation time til the temps start dropping some, still mid 70's and muggy. Lame.
