    You got it!

The final item for bow build should be here tomorrow or the next day. Can't wait. Going to move some stands and do some spearfishing this weekend. Season is getting close!

So I'm most likely going to go to Maine next spring for a bear hunt anyone heard or know of Allagash guide service?

I'm here and I'm in. Hoping to knock some down in NJ in September and November during the rut.

I live in Vermont. Hunting here is pretty poor and I don't have a single shooter on camera this year. My saving grace is that I go to NJ every year for 3 trips and can usually pull out some nice deer. I've always put a doe on the board in past years and depending on how picky I get, a buck some years. Hoping to have a fun season and can't wait to get in a tree! Here is a Vermont bear I pulled off my cam today, young probably a sow. PICT0031.jpg

I would love to get a bear on camera. The bear population in CT is on the rise, one day...

By my counts, T-Mill is the only one not checked in?

I get just as many bear as deer on camera where I live in central Vermont.

This is from 2 yrs ago, hope they are still alive and matured!

Getting ready to head out to put my camera out on my lease. Hopefully one of the big bucks will walk by it. Only two weeks left until our bow opener! Can't wait.

Two weeks until NJ bow opener. I will be there the night of the 15th and in a tree the morning of the 16th for a five day stint. Need to shoot a doe first in early season, so that will be my goal. Then when I come back for Holloween and the rut, I can concentrate on a nice buck. I'll also have all of October in VT to look for a buck.

Got my camera put out in what looks to be an awesome spot...can't wait to start getting pics. Did however find a wolf track in the plowed field.

Would be wild to get a wolf on video, but not good for your deer population. For us it's coyotes and bears, both engage in Spring fawn predation. I didn't have a single fawn on video last year and only one so far this year.

I got a wolf pic on my trail cam last year and this may be the same one that left the prints in the field(same area). Went out glassing last night and messed up videoing a giant(well over 160")...I forgot to push the record button! I guess it is better now then during hunting season.

I have never heard of any wolfs out this way, but the coyotes sure do a number on the fawns around me.

Wibowhntr, I think you have given me some motivation and I'm going to hit a few spots tonight as well and with any luck see some bucks.

Im from the Elgin area. I live about 1 hour SE of Belvidere and about 30 to 40 min SE of Garden Prairie. Garden Prairie is where the the Bowhunting.com GTG is held. Have you been to one yet?

We need to pick a captain unless I missed it. Lowbanks or Ghilie get my vote. After the captain is picked he can pm Fitz to change team thread title. The captain also needs to check into the captains thread soon so we can get a replacement if we need one.

Team Captain does not matter to me as long as it is someone who wants to do it and has a little extra time.
