Haha. Yeah dude I couldn't take it anymore. I was dying to check it. I think it'll be easier to let it sit till next weekend now that I got that initial pull outta the way. Lmao

I'm going to try and hold it out until at least Wednesday. It might not happen though haha. The deer population isn't that strong on the property I put it so I'm trying to push myself to leave it out there

you can never have too many cameras. At one point, about 4 or 5 years ago when i started with ccameras, I had 7 cameras. The quality of the cameras wasnt as good as it is these days. It was pretty quick and I had a few cameras down for good.

Yeah I hear ya. My next cams will be Coverts they seem just flat out amazing. I just couldn't pass up the awesome deal Siman/OH gave me on my first one. This one seems to take pretty dang good pics aswell though. I just super stoked to finally have one in the woods. :)

Thats awesome dude! congrats on the first successful card pull. Since I dont have trail cams, you'll have to keep an eye out on deer activity for me, I may be hunting right on the boarder this year. Maybe chase a couple my direction haha, I'm only kidding.

Haha. Yeah I'll start sending them your way after I get my freezer full. :P

I'm actually hunting about 20mins north of Westerly right across from the Acadia management area. I have a couple public land spots actually in Acadia.

I actually looked at the price of a nonresident archery license for Connecticut because I have a friend that has 15 acres close to the border. I was shocked at how much it cost for the license. Its around 40$ cheaper for a nonresident firearm license. That was shocking to me. I would think it would've been the other way around.

Yeah its pretty pricy, which is a bummer for those of us who live close to the boarder. The spot I might be hunting this year is visible from 95, just before the boarder. Knowing what I'm capable of doing in the stand, be prepared for some skiddish deer crossing into your area. Knowing my luck, I'll have a nice buck wander near my stand, I'll somehow spook him and he'll run right over to you. The classic spook and ambush

Lmao!! I may just end up returning the favor if a nice buck steps out in front of me. Haha.

Yeah all my spots are very close to and pretty much visible from 95 aswell.

Gonna go check my cam this evening after work. Its been sitting for 10 days and I'm super amped to see what's on the card this time. I'll be posting the pics on this thread as I don't see the need to make another thread unless something amazing is on the card. :)

Bummer! But you're right, you never know what will show up. I'm to pull the card on my MPE5 this Saturday. I put it on my main hunting land this time along with a mineral block. Pumped to see what is there!
