Anyone have any experience with the Leica geovid range finding binoculars or any other range finding binoculars. I had never thought about them before, always opting for my 10x42s and a range finder. I was recently on an antelope hunt and witnessed someone using the geovids. Seemed nice not having both the binos and rangefinder. Another nice feature that I think would be the main game changer for me is the option to integrate with phone apps and drop a pin on the map simply by ranging the object. Traditionally I’ve not wanted to rely on technology that much, but the pin feature I guess wouldn’t be a reliance more than an added benefit. I had also thought the range finding binos were too “techy” but when carrying around a range finder anyway, that thought doesn’t make sense. Interested in any experience anyone has had using range finding binos.
