A few months ago I began the search for a new compound bow case. After searching for quite some time and looking at many cases, I discovered Legend Archery. I was impressed by the appearances of all of their products online. After looking through their items on Legend Archery: The best archery accessories in the world. I decided to contact them for a compound bow case. Initial Impressions: I received the Legend Archery Double Two 44” bow case and out of the box I was impressed in the quality of the case. The pictures on their website are nice but, do not do this product justice when seeing it in person. I could not find a flaw anywhere on the case, inside or out. The fit and finish is outstanding. Not a single stitch out of place or a logo misaligned. Even in areas that the Velcro is stitched did it have a flaw. I have put the Legend Archery Double Two 44” bow case to the test since the day I received it two months ago. I have stored both of our compound bows in this case since I have had it. In addition I have also transported my bow to 3D Archery shoots, my local indoor range and to and from other venues I have shot Archery. The case has done an excellent job at protecting both of our bows. Bow Storage: Inside the outer bow compartment you will find padded Velcro straps to securely hold your compound bow in place. I have really liked this feature for the fact that I do not have to second guess if my compound bow is sliding around. Thanks to this feature I have not worried about the sight or arrow rest being out of adjustment due to sliding and being knocked out of adjustment. With the padding on the straps, there are no worries of the straps causing blemishes in the bows finish or damage to the strings and cables while the bow is in transport. Between the two bow compartments is a thick pad to protect the two bows from colliding in transit. As seen in the picture above the Legend Archery Double Two includes removable cam protection covers. In the outer side the Double Two also has built in cam pockets to protect the cams on longer compound bows. This has made me feel even more secure about transporting my compound bow in this case. To add to the protection Double Two gives is the hard outer shell on the backside of the case. This gives added protection to the already secure construction. Transporting: Transporting the Legend Archery Double Two case is as easy as it gets. The Double Two has an extremely soft padded carrying handle and a wide nicely padded shoulder strap. These two options have made for a very comfortable and versatile way to carry. I have carried the Double Two quite often and have not had a single issue with the carrying strap or handle being uncomfortable. Storage: The storage on the Legend Archery Double Two is plentiful. I have not had a single time where I looked for somewhere to store and transport any of my 3D gear to a shoot or the local range. The upper outer storage compartment measures 25-1/2” internal length. The lower outer compartment measures 36-1/2” in internal length. Both of the compartments are padded to protect any valuable cargo. The lower compartment is long enough for most all archery stabilizers. I personally carry my 3D archery hip quiver, one dozen arrows and my binoculars with ease. There is an internal compartment that is nearly as large as the case. I haven’t used this pocket much but, I could see it being useful to carry shooter shirts or other items an Archer may need. Zippers: The zippers on the Double Two are worth noting as a convenience. They have the large loops on them which have made it convenient when wearing gloves to open the case. After a long morning Turkey hunt I was able to unzip the case to put my bow in it without having to take my gloves off. This may not mean much to some but, I like to put my bow back in the case after hunting instead of placing it on the ground, back of the truck or where ever else I may lay it. It just gives me more confidence that I didn’t take the chance of bumping a sight or rest as I have in the past. So being able to open the case without taking my gear off was a nice feature to have. Overall Opinions: Overall I have been very happy with the Legend Archery Double Two. It has served me very well so far and has shown no wear at all. The Legend Archery Double Two has protected all of my archery gear, has been easy to transport and I would suggest this case to anyone who is looking to purchase a new case. The convenience of the amount of storage has made it easier to transport not only my bow but, I no longer have to carry my hip quiver and arrows separately from my bow. I can only see a great future ahead for this bow case and myself.
