Drinking vinegar sounds absolutely disgusting, id much rather do pickle juice. As for milk, ive tried to drink chocolate milk, unfortunately my lactose intolerance is telling me no. Don't worry, im fighting it, im just losing badly.

I've been going to the doctor for a couple different things and leg cramps were one of them. The doctors ran blood work and could not find a reasoning. But have no fear - you're not getting older. I'm young and get waken up at night because of them! They bring tears to my eyes at time! Dehydration, low potassium levels, and even B vitamin deficiences can be causes.

Thanks for support of second opinion. I have been serving him some ice water and I make very weak iced green tea. No leg cramps for two days now.

I was taught that a good wife does not nag, but it's fine to do something for your husband that's good for him.

I've been getting foot and toe cramps coming on lately in bed or during some exercises.
    Thanks for the tips.

I was thinking hot bath or hot tub would help. I'll try the pickle juice idea.

    Just an update here.

I have been serving my husband my weak iced green tea or ice water as alternative to so much coffee since I posted on this thread.

And he is no longer waking up with leg cramps. The cause was definitely dehydration.

Like I said, I can't nag him, but he reads this forum even though he doesn't post much, so he knows what I'm doing.
