When I was a kid, Mom would make the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes......the whole spread. After Thanksgiving lunch, Mom would bake a loaf of sourdough bread and for dinner, we made a monstrosity of a sandwich with slices of the fresh bread and leftover items from lunch. Now that I've been married to a Korea woman for 33+ years and Mom passed away 7 years ago, our new traditional Thanksgiving meal is egg rolls, chopjae (a noodle/veggie dish), bulgogi (Korean beef stew), kimchi, the Korean version of Misu soup, and rice. Trouble now is trying to make a sandwich out of this. Although, reheated eggrolls are pretty darn good. What do you like best about Thanksgiving leftovers?
turkey farts!!! LOL but seriously I'm eating a plate of turkey leftover right now as I type! Stuffing is my favorite, just regular stove top stuffing!!
I have the Thanksgiving feast all over again until everything runs out. That is how I handle leftovers! My favorite holiday!
