    if i have a 80% cam does that mean 80 percent of the weight is let off or does it mean im holding 80%?

    its called letoff, so 80% letoff means your holding 20% of your draw weight.

    That is correct. So a 80% letoff set at 70lbs feels like 14lbs at full draw.

    ok thanks! me and my dad were looking at a few hoyts and got to thinking...we both thought this but my uncle didnt haha had to make sure
