I opened up the link and there was a doe standing right under the feeder at 6:33am. Probably had the poor lithe bugger chained there. I'm just kidding. Pretty cool.

Yep, I've been watching it for a long while too as well as posting some in the comments section. I named one of the bicks there some time back but he came through and hasn't been seen anymore. I haven't been there very much lately.

That doe at the feeder now looks like CWD or something. Very sickly looking

From the other side. She couldn't have been more that 8" thick just in front if her rear quarters

Can you bait in Iowa? Or are they not hunting this spot?

Yes to both of your questions. They hunt about a mile from that feeder and baiting is legal in the county where their farm is located.

Would it be ethical to shoot that deer near the baited area? being that is illegal but it would be for the greater good of stopping her suffering?

Yeah the posters there have taken to calling her "Toothache", she's been like that a long time and just keeps going and eating.

There are some nice 10 pointers that visit that feeder fairly often.

Every time I open the link, there's a deer feeding. I've watched their show from time to time, I think I've heard mention that their property is 600 acres. Is that accurate? Obviously they've got a nice herd of deer there. Little slice of heaven right there, 600 acres of land with deer everywhere.

I believe you are wrong on the baiting thing. I dont think that it is legal. I may be wrong but could you post the link where it states that?
