Warning: D.C. cops under orders to arrest tourists with empty bullet casings | WashingtonExaminer.com If this isn't what you'd classify as a crock of S**T, nothing is.
that place is a cesspool anyway. like i go on vacation with a pocket full of spend brass/shotgun shells anyway
Even if there is one in your car that is not locked up, you can be arrested. That is BS, like a spent shell casing is dangerous.
wow...just wow. I guess in the mind of a liberal if you want to get rid of something completely then you start small and work your way up. First, spent casings, then bullets, then guns.
Actually, they started with guns. Then the supreme court overturned the law, but it took 30 years. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
It's called sensationalism, and it's a ploy used by magazines, newspapers and other media outlets to sell a story, ultimately to sell more papers etc. First off, the ban on shell casings is old news, it's been that way for 30 years. Second, this story just "happens" to come out the same week as that Washington Post journalists pro-gun book comes out. Probably not a coincidence. What am I saying, well, that this story is just to sell papers, advertising and this new book. Move on people, you've just been duped. although, Emily miller will get what she wants - book sales.
So you're saying this part if the story is a lie. "The law covering the transport of guns, ammo, and used ammo casings was enacted in 2009 after the Supreme Court overturned the District's 30-year gun ban in 2008." Does it really matter if it's 4 years old or 30 ? The whole premise of the story is to sell the book, no secret there. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
The new law has been out since 2009 and this is the first I've heard of anyplace making it illegal to have in their possession spent shell casings without a gun registration.
This country is one messed up place right now. We need some MAJOR changes and we need those in a hurry! This is not the land of the free anymore....
This is just one of the 435,456,455,009 ridiculous laws the state and federal authorities have on the books.
