learned an easy rule the hard and expensive way.......dryfire!

I dry-fired my bow 2 years ago the night before the season opened as I was checking my stand set-up out making sure there were no limbs in the way, etc...Rushed out of the stand to the local bow tech (about 20 miles away) and he was able to get me ready for opening day...

He recommended to me that in the future I should use a "dummy trigger"...This allows you to pull back just like your normal trigger but there is no mechanism to release the string...

Works great!
