I am not sure I get the whole story? Did the hunter kill the buck and then the attorney shot the hunter and killed him with a rifle because he was trespassing on the attorney's property? (not that this is excusable) I am just trying to get the whole gist.....

They don't say somethings specifically.. BUT.. if you play the video to the left of the story they say he'll be charged with involuntary manslaughter. The same lawyer was previously cited for "Reckless Hunting" in the shooting of another hunter some years before. I'd say the guy needs to be taken out of the gun ownership business.

It says the deer was shot near the lawyer's land not on it....but who knows. There's a couple of ways to look at this. The deceased shot a buck the lawyer had been watching/hunting and he got angry and shot the guy or the decesed was dragging/field dressing the deer and was shot. I'm guessing the latter since it did say involuntary manslaughter. Either way, it should not have happened and this scumbag should rot away in prison. Its kinda ironic because he's probably put a lot of people in there.

Hunters fault for not wearing orange, he should of been shot for being a dumbass. His last thought, Im going to drag a deer through the woods and not wear my orange hopeing I dont get shot. Not smart. The lawyer is most likely a poacher and everything else under the sun and should be found guilty on every charge and receive the maximum penalty if not more. Sounds like there both idiots.

Put the crack pipe down :busted: No doubt in my mind that hunter was murdered.... I would like to see your response if that was one of your loved ones...

X2, be respectful of the deceased and the loved ones they left behind. Your comments are no better than those left on the article itself stating that the hunter being killed was karma for killing deer.

When I was shot in 2000 it was bow season and I was not wearing orange.....didn't have to. The Indian kid sound shot me at 20 yards, 2mm from hitting my brachial artery and killing me. Anyways, 1 week later after I got out of the hospital, the warden was at my house interviewing me and said to me, "Well, I know the Indians are out hunting so I wear orange." Basically saying I'm partly to blame. Needless to say, I almost jumped across the table and choked the **** out of him.

So, maybe some people should really think about what they say and post before they hit "Submit Reply"......to save themselves from sounding like a dumbass.

It was my understanding in talking to a game warden here in De his belief was he removed his orange and jacket to dress the deer. He had washed his hands in the creek and was returning to the deer that lay a few feet away when shot. This was the feeling of this particular warden from an adjacent state from all the stuff he had read and I assume that was privy info between the jurisdictions.

May I add a little piece of advice.Lets wait until ALL the FACTS are out before we pass judgment. Some already have this guy tried for murder and hung and don't even know the facts of the case.

Remember that the media is out to sell stories, not facts. They should add at the end of their reports, based on actual events.
