Ive used scentaway detergent in the past and can tell no difference with deer sightings or the way they react to me. I have found no reasons to concern myself with uv.

I use Dead Down Wind products. I have not been winded since I started using them: Laundry soap, deodrant, spray. I shot a doe 20 yards down wind on Friday.

I think alot of us follow the same guidelines to stay scent free and playing the wind in our favor. One thing alot of guys forget, after taking that hot shower with the scent free soaps and deoderants, the first thing we do is reach for that freshly dryed towel the wife has hanging by the tub,....and rub all that lemony fresh "tropical breeze" or what ever the "flavor of the month" is, all over your body,......I have a stack of camo towels that are washed in DDW with the rest of my hunting clothes that she keeps in plastic bags until I need them,....

$2.99 jug of knockoff scent free detergent from the grocery store. Have had deer walk right under me and lots within 20 yards. Seems to work just as well as the expensive stuff.

My dad has more big deer hanging on his wall than anyone I know. He has never once used any type of scent killer. Hell he rarely wears camo. Lol.

before my wife developed allergies to some detergents and we were using "whatever's on sale"; I always ran a couple of loads of regular clothes with DDW through the washer/dryer to flush out the lines before I did my hunting clothes... now we use the A/H hypoallergenic as our regular detergent so I probably don't really have to worry about detergent scents as much, but the good stuff only costs me about $15 per season so why not?
