Not sure what he will score but I know I would smoke him before I considered shooting 10 -12 point 160 class buck! Thats one heck of a 8! Velvet can be so deceiving! Can't wait to see what he looks like naked! :)

I would say in the high 140's low 150's. It takes alot for an Eight to score that high.

    Good luck with him!

I suck at the scoring game, so I won't even try... But DAMN that's a fine deer!

He is a great buck no doubt but it takes a HUGE 8 to get to 150, I would put him around 140.

    Mid to high 40s.

    Mains 50
    1s 8
    2s 20
    3s 18
    Spread 20
    Mass 32
    148

Hard to tell in velvet though. One thing is for sure...that is a DAMB NICE BUCK. Those big 8s look bigger than they score every time. Put him on the wall!

    155, maybe 157.

    G1's 10
    G2's 20
    G3's 20
    Beams 51
    Mass 35
    Spread 19

    Total 155

Add in the 2" sticker on his left base and he'll go 157".

A lot of the guesses are severely underestimating the length of his beams, IMO. Maybe its the shape of his rack, but they are a good 25", maybe 26". I've scored piles of deer and sheds at my camp in Ontario and generally get extremely close to score just by looking at a rack. Hopefully I can kill him this year and if I do, I guarantee he'll go over 150", easily. :)

Nothing wrong with those numbers. I said low 150's....... but I'm always on the conservative side. More surprising that way. One time I came on the boards saying I had shot a 140 something buck and after I recovered the buck it was 170's! LMAO!

Dan, I think you are in the ballpark. It will be interesting to see what mass he has after the velvet is gone. Either way, that is a quite a stud!

He looks prett similar to a Big 8 pointer I shot with a gun in Southern IL last fall. Mine grossed 156 and netteed 152 2/8. They always look a little bigger invelvet of course. Im thinking he will go low 150s for sure gross and net will be high 140s to right at 150net.

I get 166 Dan. ruttnutt shot an 8 a couple of seasons ago that went 163 and the one in your pictures look bigger than his, so I'll stick with my measurements. Best of luck with him this season, an awesome Buck!

Its a great deer, lets worry about the score once its on the ground. Get out there and get em. the deer scores 115! ha! but we never know until it is down.
