Fellas, I know they are expensive but I'm telling you, as an owner of many different types of cameras, there's just nothing that compares with the Reconyx. If you can ever get your hands on one, just do it! Unfortunately, another pic of a trespasser, the third one I've gotten.

This doe has some sort of growth on it's lower neck. I got it's picture a few weeks ago on another camera.

Great pics Jim. and I gotta agree with you... the Reconyx is the best game camera on the market right now. I am pleasently suprised to see that they are dropping their prices by $100 for each unit this year..... as good as they are... until you tear one apart you don't really just how simple (and cheap to build) the units are. Their performance is second to none, but it HAS to be to have the price tag they carry.

I am actually probablly going to list my RC60 with 2-2GB cards on E-Bay this week to see how much I can get for them... then when the new models are released I plan on getting two of them!

I posted this about being the best because of the results of my latest trip to retrieve cameras. Three weeks out for three cams. Results; Cuddeback, 27 pics; Leafriver, 43 vids; Reconyx, over 500 pics. All three cams were placed in very high traffic areas. I was also so impressed by the video posted here regarding the new Reconyx, that I'm just about ready to give trailcampro a call and tell them to just ship me one when they come in. What risk would you be taking? Afterall, it is a Reconyx. I too, am considering selling some of my other cams.

Has anyone ever thought of putting out different types of cameras, set to the same settings, and all in the same spot? Like on the same tree? I would be curious of the outcome.

I know the companies claim to do that, but I would like to see a real person (lol) do it.

I did It last year with my RC60 Reconyx and my No Flash Cuddeback In the same exact tree one foot apart. The Cuddeback didn't get as many deer as the Reconyx did but only because the Cuddeback has a minimum of a 1 minute delay between pics/video's. Other then that It didn't miss a thing.

Was there much of a difference in trigger speed?

Honestly trigger speed Isn't always the factor here. The size of the viewing area Is even a bigger Issue. Reconyx has a much bigger viewing area then the Cuddeback has. You'll notice that all or most Cuddeback pictures have the deer In the middle of the picture and Reconyx pictures will have deer on the sides being there viewing area Is bigger. But to answer your question the Reconyx has a faster trigger speed.
