Hey there all. I'm away from my hunting land until early August and I had wanted to plant some screens, not sure what seed exactly, but something that would grow tall and thick, in a few places, mostly to enable me to get to a few stands without being seen.

But I didn't get around to planting that stuff, and I won't be back until August. Can you recommend anything I could plant in august that would make for a good screen over 6'?

    Thanks fellas!

you might be too late this year but for long term results, i would highly recommend planting a stand of switchgrass. Great escape cover, and it is high in protein for browsing. Pretty low maintenance as well, burn or mow it about once every 2-3 years and you will be solid.
