Hey guys I know that this question is being asked well before its even relevant but Im in a situation where its my only chance at a big buck. In a nut shell I recently got access to join a few guys on some nice property to bow hunt, me being the newb to the group, they said I cant shoot any really big deer until after the second shotgun season in IL...:( anyways after the second gun season once the snow has fallen, what do you guy recommend I should do? Its really my only chance this year of having the option of harvesting a mature buck. Please help me out on this one! Thanks

Hunt food. And from a ground blind if possible. If you do hunt in a tree, then use some camo like Natural Gear, or somethind in a grey pattern. Bedding is also good, but as an advid goose hunter in Jan, and Feb you should hit the winter fields.
