Looking for advice for hiring public land in the late season. The spot I’m hunting is wooded without any corn or soybean fields nearby. It has a stream but all the browse is pretty much gone since the temps have dropped. Does anybody have any advice for hunting there? Thanks ya’ll
If there isn’t any food around chances are deer moved to winter where there is. Find what there eating if there staying around the area and you’ll be golden. You seeing deer on cams?
Right now I just look for the trails with the most tracks on them in the snow and see if I can find a good tree for an ambush.
I haven’t hung up any cameras bc Maryland requires that you set up and take down the same day but I’m more worried about someone walking off with them.
Get out there and scout. Find likely bedding areas and look for deer crap, tracks, browse lines. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
