This November I picked up my first Lone Wolf Stand (Assault). I have three other stands that have served me well, but this Lone Wolf is far superior! Its light weight, easy to set up, comfortable, stable, and quiet. In the past couple years, I have sat in my brothers Lone Wolf and was impressed, but I must say I will never buy a lesser stand again.

I'm sold on the quietness alone. This December I've been hunting in actual temperatures as cold as -20. All of my other stands become so noisy below 25 degrees, that the slightest movement echos through the entire Superior National Forrest. The only noise that I get in my Lone Wolf is from any snow that gets left behind in my boot treads, but a simple tap or two to the trunk of my tree on my way up takes care of that.

If you are in the market for a new stand, please do yourself a favor and try a Lone Wolf. You may pay a little more, but I think its more than worth it.
