Late Season Doe

    Had good evening in the stand. Seen 8 nanny's and wacked this one at 10yds right as see looked up at me. She was taken on private land about a few yards in the woods beside a bean feild. It was a same day setup w/ the LW stand and sticks. She was working her way towards the beans when the slick trick done her in. She is my first ever late season kill. Season ends here on the 2nd. Backstraps for new years.....I think so!

    No sir, just an old pair of work boots. I had taken the hunting boots off from going in and out of the house. Mama aint big on tracking dirt in the house!:whip:

    I dont mind at all. She was killed w/ a slick trick standard 1" 100g fixed blade head. Ive been using them for 3yrs now and cant complain.

    Nice deer, rifle season just ended here in Pa so all the deer are spooked for awhile. I went out yesterday and all I saw as a fox. I still have my buck and 3 doe tags for this year. I haven't put a deer down yet. Theres still time though.

    ^^keep at it man! I hope you get to fill one of your tags. NC's gun season has been in since middle of Oct, so I know what you mean with spooked deer.
