Late season Doe: Would you shoot knowing she's most likely carrying?

I am wondering who has a problem with shooting a late season doe (January+) because she's most likely carrying a developed embryo? The thought of gutting a doe and seeing a fetus/fetuses would not set well with me knowing that I killed them.

I'll shoot them early with fawns, or late with embryos. Besides, life starts at conception :tu:

If I couldn't shoot them with fawns or if they we pregnant, there would be about a 28 hr period of time that I 'could' shoot one.

Yeah I mean whats the difference from late season when they are carrying or early season when that same doe will be getting pregnant shortly? Its still the same, that fawn still wont be born either way.

Like Fitz said...doe with fawns? Shooting. Fawn? Shooting. Doe with incubation going on? Shooting.

This has been beaten to death around here.

Shoot it you won't see the fetus. When you gut it unless your looking for it.

I cant stand the thought of orphaning a fawn in early season. Thats why I shoot the fawn! Tastes better anyways. :o
