Wind and weather have been brutal in NY this year..........maybe as bad as I have ever seen.

Had a few deer milling around last night and a button buck standing at 10 yards for about 15 minutes looking lost.............at 5:30 I see a deer coming down the hillside right at me and I think it's the same button so I don't grab my bow. As she gets close I see it's not Mr Button but a nice sized doe only now I'm boned because she is 5 yards staring right at me. She gets the creeps and head bobs like crazy looking past me......hoping a buck is behind me I look and see nothing. She hops a few yards back and starts nibbling leaves. She should have kept going ;)

20 yards slight quater away..........first deer for the Destroyer. Stinger Buzzcutt blew through her and was about 8 inches in the ground. Magnus heads doing 3 bills is rediculously unfair :) She went about 10 yards not knowing what hit her and then reality kicked in and she ran another 40.........thankfully back up the hill and died 30 yards from the field. About as good as that situation could have gone.

    Good Luck to all.

Gander Mountain...........that is their logo on the front. Surprisingly warm, covers just enough of the ears to not dampen hearing and doesn't get in way of bowstring. Not bad for $10

If anyone loved the hat I would have guessed Tony as it has a bit of papal shape to it.
