Was looking to get some reviews on last year's camo clothing, game hide is still having that blow out sale and it's very very tempting! I know they're making room for new stuff this year, but for the price I'm about to pull the trigger.. If you wore any of it what did you like about it, and what didn't you? Warmth? Comfort? Rain? Noise? Thanks in advance guys!! Sent from my SM-N920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I believe the stuff that Gamehide made in Lost XD is the same garments they made in the original Lost Camo as well. I owned the Gridlock suit a few years back and it's a great mid-to-late season hunting suit. In fact, one of my favorites in terms of fit, finish and overall design. You don't get any scent control or weather/rain benefits, but it's a nice suit. At $60 for the jacket it's a hard deal to beat.
I agree with JZ, I have the older Lost Camo from Gamehide also and I love the stuff. I have the gridlock suit, the monster suit, the long sleeve shirt, lite wicked pants, vest, hat, beanie, neck gator, gloves, hand muff, etc. I like it all so much, that I bought another gridlock suit, vest, hand muff, neck gator, beanie in the Lost XD pattern when I saw the sale prices! You literally can't go wrong. Stuff is a great fit, comfortable and super quite! Great stuff for the price!
I have a GridLock Suit from Gamehide that is the original Lost Camo. I wear it during cold weather hunts. Great fit and feel and keeps me warm.
I also have the gridlock suit from the original lost camo. I will say I have moved on to another camo but really got a lot of use out of my gridlock and would recommend it. Pros - Extremely quiet, comfortable, affordable, looks great, great materials, good function of pockets and such, and very nice fit with the freedom sleeves. Cons-Since it's a fleece material it isn't waterproof (not a big deal if you don't hunt in downpours), not windproof (in Wisconsin during November if it was windy and around 30 it cut right through and I got cold). In my opinion it's great for October and early November hunts. If you find a decent price for the gridlock I would recommend it.
