I feel like I aged 12 years today at work. We had some pretty serious stuff go down about three weeks ago..the shock waves are beginning to echo. Being an honest person is sometimes just painting a bullseye on one's chest.

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Is it my hunting vacation yet?

Man I had to protect some of my guys today as well. I am caught in the crossfire between groups and have a bullseye on my chest as well. They have tried to break me down over the past couple of weeks because I am an outspoken guy and try to speak logically. Today was the worst of it man and I just kept coming. I feel like a damn Hyena, never relenting when sometimes I just want to keel over bc it is exhausting.

Got home and took my dog running and worked out. Everyone else went home and drank. Not kidding.

Michael, I started my current job thing over five months ago. Things are picking up and I should know one way or another within two weeks. So work stress and the new job thing, plus some other things like myyounger brother needing heart surgery here shortly are just making me maxed man. I have been exercising to burn it off but it has been hard.

    Classic!!!!

I have a major problem at work. Everybody tells me everything and it is affecting me in major ways. I am getting cynical and miserable, eating to combat depression, it really sucks. One guy got fired today (FINALLY) for taking advantage of 6 homeless women at our women and children's facility. Dude was making women strip tease him and have sex with him (at work) and threatened to tell that they were not doing proper work chores if they didn't comply. I wanted to kill the bastard.

Not pointing fingers but just curious... You knew about this occurring but could not expose this behavior sooner?

I found out three weeks ago after my supervisor found out about it. He had to do a thorough investigation before they could terminate him. It was killing me because he was on vacation for two weeks and then got back into the office. It took him the last 2 days of investigation and they fired him this afternoon.

I was powerless as this was not my department and I had to let justice work. They did move the guy immediately to the men's shelter (where I work) so I had to look at this guy every day and act like I didn't know. It was very hard. He terrified the women there for 8 months we found out.

Agreed. I don't want to be the next guy looking for work though. It blows. I should have given a fin to one of the guys living there and had him do the deed!
