Just got the final word on permission for 80 acres in Parke County, IN. Prime time hunting property I was able to land. It looks absolutely dynamite on the maps - going to check it out tomorrow and hang a set or two. Will try and post some photos while scouting.

A nice creek running along the eastern perimeter of the property should allow for decent entry exit when the water is down. I’m thrilled about this new opportunity! It’s 45 mins from my house which will limit the amount I hunt it - but I’ve got plenty of access closer to home that I have confidence in as well.

I’ll do it, but y’all decide the name.

Congrats on the land Sycamore! Sounds awesome!

Speaking of Saddles anyone in here saddle hunting? I’m a non saddle guy myself.

As for the missing two guys I’ll send them a private message now and give them till Sept 13th which is two weeks. Then I’ll post that we need two alternates if they don’t respond.

My .02 on names. I liked Fuhgedduhboudit since we all go to the woods to do just that and Fix already brilliantly supplied our avatar. Or Wuhan clan just bc i think it's funny. But I really don't think it matters too much in the grand scheme. Since I retreated on captain I thought I'd at least give one last volley before totally pulling a French move.

I didn’t mention this earlier. I moved my cell cam today to where I see several bucks travel through on the neighbors property. Will update with pictures as they come in. Still cant believe I got permission to hunt it. I only need permission for like 150 yards of it but now I have permission to access it all.
