    If the winds not right don't go. It's better to burn a sit in an observation stand without even bringing your bow ( but seriously you should always have it) then ruin a good spot

    Yep. It is an observation spot but, and it is a big but, there is bedding close by. SE is a little too close on wind. Basically just in the edge of bad. Supposed to be ESE which works. I'll have to actually get close but not too close and check the wind on the ground.

    Somehow the rain went from 100 percent chance last night to nothing. Frustrates me. I knew I should’ve got up and checked anyways.

    Temps next weekend look awesome. 57, 55, 57 for me.

    I was up at 630 and almost went out for a sit even tho that's kind of late. Just wasn't motivated enough. Will be out later to hang a stand for tomorrow and scout my way in to see if there is anything promising. Just been a ghost town here this year.

    I probably won't get out again until Tuesday then maybe Thursday, Friday. These will all be evening hunts. I leave next Sunday for my first ever bear hunt, which does include a buck tag so you never know. I'll take a nice buck and a big ole bear, no problem!!!!!
