What’s going on guys? Sorry haven’t been in here past couple days. Haven’t had much to report. Movement has slowed down a ton with the corn being cut across the road. They will be back tho. This usually happens when the corn is cut. One of the 8 pointers I’m after has been a regular visitor this week. 3 pictures of him. No real pattern. Counting down the days. Low Monday and Tuesday is 39 and 40 which is insane for Tennessee. Seems it’s going to warm back up on the opener tho. Fingers crossed the weather man is wrong.

I'm throwing darts boys. I am 100% ready for season just need to wait about 3 weeks. I have never had so much confidence in my rig. I'm really digging my heavier weight.

So here's a buck I called Little 9 last year. Passed on him several times. Looks a little wider this year and more mass. Other than that doesn't seem to have grown too much. I'll post pics of this year and last year. 20200918_003218.jpg 20200918_003149.jpg 20200918_003109.jpg 20190916_214535.jpg 20191010_031351.jpg

Does anyone know what this thing is on the left side of the pic? I'm not quite sure what it is. 20200918_032922.jpg

You can’t see anything in this picture let alone what is on the left side of the pic.

Seriously a few of you guys are getting too good of pictures not to spend $20-$30 on an SD card reader for your cell phone. Uploading grainy trail camera pictures is like having a pencil sharpener attached to your garage wall - it’s just an ancient way of doing things...

    I kid. Kinda.

Planning on hunting this evening and I'm gong to hunt a different spot that I've never hunted. Cleared it out for access in the Spring and it is based on a travel route a nice 8 was using between beds last year. I don't know if he's still around, but it is an established trail that come out on a transition. So it gets used a lot. Not the best wind for an evening hunt, but not terrible. There could be deer that get in behind me, but they would be a ways off.

Shawn, I can't really tell what that is in the pic, but it almost looks like a bird in flight.

Was talking to my buddy on the West side of NC and he mentioned that cold front too. It's much nicer to hunt without sweating just sitting there. Good luck!

This weekends weather here in New York would be about perfect for our opener....unfortunately we still have two weeks to go.

I still haven’t got my hunting setup BH tuned yet though. I have an issue with my dominant left eye so I had to switch over to a right handed bow for this year. Been shooting surprisingly well considering I’ve been shooting left handed for going on 30 years now.

Good luck to everyone that’ll be in a tree this weekend.

Well I tried a new spot and saw nothing. I had a coopers hawk buzz me right as I cinched my lifeline all the way up and it scared the ****e out of me. Gonna try an old stand in the morning that I've had some early season success out of in the past.
