bummer, my early archery season is put on hold for a week/two due to the gun hunt opening this weekend. I am going to boon up north, 3 hrs, to bowhunt up where I'll be gun hunting this weekend; just to squeek one in. I'm hoping to score on at least a doe, which would really start the gun season in a good way. After watching Justin's video, man I've got the butterflies something fierce tonight, giddy like a school girl. There's something about getting ready for a week of hunting, eating vension, a late breakfast cooking in an iron skillet on a wood fire, bragging rights & admiration around the meat pole, comraderie around the camp fire, & this is really exciting to me, my son's first up north hunting trip. :d Can't wait till tomorrow.
