Well, my first bow season has come to an end. I saw alot of deer, had a shot at a doe, but didn't see the branch:mad: I learned a ton about bow hunting. I am now turning my full attention to target shooting. Taking my brother to the indoor range tommorow(i gave him my old bow for Christmas) and get him set up for some shooting. When leagues are over, I'm going to start figuring out what i will need for next year. Scent control, new rest (I'm getting one soon...just gotta figure out what), what arrows i will go with. Plus i am sure this is a ton more to figure out. I am also, going to start looking into food plots, place to put my stands and ground blinds.

Also...I'd like to thank the people here on the Forums, who have been helpfull, as i have started to learn the ropes, and ask questions. Thanks, and happy new year to all of you!!!

Been a great season, and God Bless!!

Glad you had a great season. Welcome to bowhunting. Sounds like you have some great enthusiasm towards it. The journey has just begun. Keep up the good work and good luck in the future.

After i shot my buck during rifle season, my wife and I wanted to process it ourselves. So my brother came down and helped skin it, sense i never had, and he's butchered lots of animals, and kinda knew what he was doing. He seemed so pumped, so i wanted to try and keep the ball rolling. Going to go shoot tommorow!

Glad to see that you have enjoyment whether you kill or not! All aspects are to be enjoyed and built upon with knowledge and effort.
    Congratulations on the rifle kill!

Bow season should always be Fun!

If you loose the Fun then what is left? I believe in setting personal goals, but you don't have to reach those goals to have fun.

Fun is what it should be all about!!

Same results (I didn't miss..just got busted) same harvest results - bumpkis.

Got to hunt with VA Shadow one day - will do some scouting and hunting with him this year.

    Next year!
