Not quite ready for the weekend spring steelheading crowds, so a buddy and I chased trout on some much quieter water. Very relaxing day without seeing another fisherman. Not bad for a Sunday. Loading the vessel. A couple decent browns for this river that were willing to chase in the cold water. Its still a little early for streaming fishing, but I needed a change of pace. Today was back to steelheading and we managed to find a couple along with some nice browns. Its cool to see how much their coloration can vary.
Yeah have to stock up on bait...only 7 more weeks until I'll be on the big waters! When are you coming back and how long are you staying?
