Do the sheds count if they come from a hunting preserve? I think I scored this sweet spot to take my kids shed hunting. I'm assuming no. Otherwise, it is very difficult to find the sheds from the few yearling bucks that survive my hunting grounds.
I'm assuming a deer shot from a high fence hunting preserve would not count in the deer hunting contest, so thats why I ask. If its against the rules, no worries.
I don't see a problem with it. No such thing... fair chase for sheds. Once they fall on the ground... they can't get way even on the outside of the fence. The contest is for fun. Now tresspessing and picking them up where it is illegal... that is wrong !! Tim
High fence sheds? I see no reason they should not count. Unless the person was trespassing to retrieve them. Otherwise.. fair game. The contest is for fun.. meeting new blokes... finding bone is still just finding bone. Your kids will enjoy it.
90% of my shed hunting is done in parks with either no, or very limited hunting. But people HAMMER then heck out of those parks for sheds.
Total newbie here. What are the rules? Leave them where they lay, or? I've not bowhunted yet. But, this would get me out exploring some of the local hunting places in my area.
