My wife and I are headed to vegas Feb 6-9. I have never been and have no idea where to stay. HELP ME PLEASE.
I have been told that New York New York is nice, Paris is fun, and Planet Hollywood was okay.
    Breakdown:
    Going to Party
    Will be gambling
    Will be renting Limo
Wife and her friends will be going to Britney Spears Concert. "yes I told her you know you are in your 20's now and Britney isn't as cool"
If you have gone where did you stay and what bars did you go too and what should we do.

My wife and I went earlier this year and we stayed at the Mandalay Bay. It was really nice. I have been to Vegas many times, but this was her first time there and she is HOOKED now. This was a spur of the moment trip and the Mandalay offered us the best deal. Our first choice was the Bellagio. That place is AMAZING!

We stayed at Mandalay Bay, new nice and new - would definitely stay there again. As far as partying and gambling, that is everywhere so I wouldn't let that determine your hotel, if you don't like what's happening at your own hotel, just go next door. Very rarely will you stick to your hotel anyway.

Just got back from Las Vegas last month. Wife and I go about twice a year. Find a property group and stick to it. I.e Mlife, Ceasers, Wynn etc. We stayed at Aria this time which is an MLife property, however, we normally stay at the Bellagio.I concur it is the nicest property, however, we are 40. So keep that in mind. Aria had a little younger crowd. I would go back to either. In fact I will be there on February 7th as well. Have fun. Mandalay Bay is nice but its far from the other properties. its pretty much the end of the modern strip.

hmmm looks like I need to look at the Bellagio a little harder! I have been told that a 4 day trip is more than enough at a time because your body can't keep up. I don't feel like I will sleep, I think I will try to bring back my college days :)

I was there last month and stayed at the Tropicana by Hilton. It has recently been redone and was real nice. It was quite affordable as well and within walking distance of everything.

After visiting the majority of the casinos I was probably most impressed with New York New York. There have a ton of restaurants and didn't seem to be as smoky as some of the other joints.

I ate at some fantastic food joints while I was there too!

We stayed at Bellagio, it was a cool place. Other than that, we did not enjoy partying/gambling at Bellagio near as much as we liked Planet Hollywood. We also spent a lot of time partying in Flamingo.. Not sure what the appeal to Flamingo was, but we just kept ending up there. Every place had something different. Like nchunter said, if you pick a property group you will be better off because of the rewards cards you use.
