Large Roadkill in Northern IL

    I know this is a bowhunting forum, but driving to work this AM came across a large buck along the road. He was on the west side of the road in a farmer's front yard dead on Hwy 47 about halfway between Woodstock and Hebron. I would estimate around 150" currently with bulbs on each tine end so he had some more growing to do. If I can figure out how to get pics off of my cell phone I will post them. Otherwise....if you are from this area and have the time to drive by you should check this guy out. Very dissappointing!!

    I could if I had a data plan on my phone. I am married to the queen of tight budgets! With only myself working we do sacrifice some luxuries (like data plan, satelitte/cable TV, etc...) to afford hobbies (like hunting!!). I will try to load to the PC at home tonight if I don't spontaneously combust today in this heat!!
