Speaking of IT, those in the industry are heading for some tougher times ahead in terms of technical illiteracy. As a technology teacher, I can say without hesitation the Gen Z are the.dumbest.technical.generation.ever. Their inability to navigate a basic file system, use any basic software with any efficiency, or even type with more than one finger is astounding. Seriously, the kids I teach now are light years behind kids that came before them. Society still views them as technology savvy because they walk around with their face buried in their phone all day watching Tik Toks when in reality, they are utterly inept.
