Oh boy it's been a minute since I've looked at seed or tree prices, DANG!
I have a slew of cutting to do, so many snapped off and uprooted trees. They aren't the issue it's the many, many hung up ones. All big trees rotted partially off and high. No safe way around them without a dozenblade or caged big front end loader.
Prices being what they are I'll be doing Transplants from around our place. Hoping some stored seed is viable and using feed seed.
I will be putting in at least one big blackberry screen near a blind. We have a wild strain that gets 12 ft thick canes and holds berries and leaves late. Good for deer and turkey.
Other large seed areas will have to wait so I can see what the farms long my lines are doing this spring.
Any big plans being looked at out there?

I've got a lot of projects to do.
    Several soybean food plots.
    Some hinge cutting
Plant and cage some new fruit (apple or pear) trees in select locations
Clean up pond banks with brush cutter

Thanks, that was 2024's euro mount that never was. Right after I took that Pic Scout found it in garage drying more and ate the face off.

Just got back from a walk and closing up a couple of blinds. Holy Holy I have a ton of cutting to do. Not only do I have ash dying I have one old slashing with 2/3's of the maples dead and or dying. That means a lot of light that will hit the grounding certain areas. My bird seed supplier also sells whole corn corn and oats. Oats are a good partial shade plants. I'll be trying a first time planting this spring of oats and Dutch white clover
