Totally agree that he deserves to be sued by those he sued.

I am disappointed... At least I now know for sure my weany shaped, muscleless body is normal.

At the end of the day, he was still the fastest cyclist that was doping.

What if while all his competition was doping he could truthfully say: I am Lance Armstrong and I have never doped and i have never won a race either. Would anyone have known who Lance Armstrong was ?? At least he gave himself a chance - I applaud him for that. : )

Do you even give a crap about a cyclist? Thoughts?

I care about as much for this as I care for Curling !!!

I can't believe how so many are getting so fired up over this. Literally everyone in cycling doped during the 7 wins. On his last tour the biggest opponent for Lance, Juan Ulrich, was dq'd for doping as well. Lance still absolutely dominated him in years past.

Does doping give you an unfair advantage over "pure" athletes? Yes. Does doping give you an advantage over other doped athletes? No.

The majority of people that are "fired up" are that way because of how Lance tried to ruin the lives of people that accused him of doping by using his power and recognition.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted. I truthfully looked through that aspect. My bad.

What sports don't dope? I know kids... yes kids... who use asthma inhalants at swim meets to increase lung capacity... caffeine/energy drinks and snacks...(Red Bull etc...)While these may not be "hazardous" is there a message sent that it is okay... at some level?

Are you comparing red bull, monsters, and power bars to PED's?

I am not sure... our swim coach asked me to get my son a Red Bull before a race. I did, then I was really convicted about the message I sent, that he was not good enough or he needs to take something to enhance his performance? To be accepted? I guess my question is where does it begin and where should it end?

I agree that it could convey a wrong message. I do not agree, though, that they would help his performance in any direction.

I don't buy the "everyone was doing it" argument as a reason to be apathetic. I know I teach my kids that if they are with a group of friends that are doing something wrong to walk away. My message to them is just because everyone else is doing it doesn't make it right. Just my [IMG]

Would not prison be an option, fraud, blackmail or a conflict of interest, I'm sure contracts were signed and fees paid for his endorsements.

Funny... they didn't... he drank the drink before finals... then swam the exact same time he did in prelims. I am thankful for that.

On the other hand, another swimmer drank five (5) Red Bulls... took several shots of his inhaler and swam a team record time. Guess what happened next? Parents all over the aquatics center were running to the store to purchase energy drinks and power bars for their children. They got the message loud and clear.

Huh.. I never drank them in HS yet won 90% of my races (110m high hurdles, 300m intermediate hurdles) against kids who did. Did you ever think this kid is just good at what he did, maybe he wanted it more?

Energy bars allow you to use your body to its, supposed, max, not superscede(sp?) it's capacity like a PED would.
