So.... no talk about him here (unless I missed it). Surprised? About time he came clean? What does it do for his "legacy"? Do you even give a crap about a cyclist? Thoughts?

By the way... I wish I could dig up old threads. I remember going back and forth with a certain individual we all know and love about this topic. I said he was doping and the biggest liar, cheater, fraud walking (riding) the face of the earth...... years ago. Was called naive, ignorant, know it all, know nothing etc... ya know the usual stuff. No way in the world he was and can't give credit where credit is due. Well, credit wasn't due. Interview should be interesting.

Funny to think about how long he went on like this and now it all comes crashing down. Over what? He more or less wasted his entire life to be slapped in the face as a cheating lair.

I don't think I know anyone how cares about cycling. I have long suspected Armstrong was doping though

I find it humorous people call him scum for his actions in a cycling ring, when he has arguably done more for cancer patients than anyone in history.

I always thought he doped, and I've always thought most all athletes of that generation doped across the board of sports. I just don't care about sports enough to get heated or betrayed by it I guess.

I agree with my boy Tosh...all athletes should be required to dope! We deserve it! We pay to much money on sports and watching sports, we deserve the best athletes science can produce!

This. I haven't really put too much thought into is. Cycling is an unexpectedly dirty sport. The only bikers who say they haven't doped are the one's who have not been caught.

I think some are missing a large point of the story.

It's not just about being a cheater and a liar.

Armstong has destroyed the careers and credibility of many others while attempting to protect his own fabricated image.

It is a very flawed system. He was tested hundreds of times and they find nothing. How much these drugs may or may not have helped him... he is a fantastic cycler. If he can pass hundreds of test... so can the others. And lately... all the others are coming up just as dirty. You say he destroyed lives???? I find that a stretch. I don't think he said she said pointing fingers destroy lives.

Cycling has been plagued by doping for ages. Lance is just another guy that doped, many others have gotten away with it or gotten caught. Most of the upper echelon in the sport cheat, go back and research all the guys who have been caught, the sport is tainted.

I could care less - cycling is known for being a dirty sport... The reason they aren't giving his TDF titles to anyone else is because the next like 20 cyclists were doping too (seriously)... Unfortunately, it seems like its common practice at the upper levels of sports rather baseball, football, Nascar, etc? My brother and I used to joke about the baseball players back in the steroid era - I mean when guys hat and shoe sizes are growing at age 35 - you knew they were on some type of juice... Same with Lance - when he was winning - you hoped it was all natural - but on the other hand, you knew if there were shady things going on - he was probably taking part like everyone else...

Well said... And it's been going on for ages too - just how they cheat changes... From pine tar and corked bats to illegal supplements to whatever edge they can get at the time... Hell, isn't the saying in car racing "if you aren't cheating, you aren't trying"...

Dude....it's not my opinion....I'm telling you the facts...do a little research before stating your opinions.

Do you have any idea how many people this guy has sued who were telling the truth....to try to cover up his lies?

I agree with this. Not to defend him but he was probably pressured into suing those people because if he didn't there would be to much speculation as to why he didn't sue for slander. Which would more than likely keep him from sweeping the allegations under the rug. Not that it makes it right but he may not have wanted to sue them. Then again that doesn't change the fact that he should've come "clean"(pun intended) when he was first accused.

He has done great things for cancer research and such and nobody can deny that.

Actually if you do some research you can see that most of the money from Livestrong does not go towards cancer research...

And I think any logical person could tell Lance was doping. Everyone behind him was doping, yet he was still beating them clean? No. And he deserves to get sued by everyone that he tried to ruin for accusing him of doping. Lance is trash.
