This Lan-C conroller has been laying in a drawer of video stuff of mine for quite some time. I used it for a couple of years and then decided to go smaller so this one gets no use. It is a Varizoom VZProL LanC controller. A while back, I sent it off to Varizoom to have the cord replaced as I noticed a crack in the insulation and did not want it to short out. They went completely through it and basically it is as good as new in terms of operation. It is all aluminum construction. I painted it black to take the shine off of it. The marks you see are simply handling marks in the black paint. I assure you that the unit is in great condition. It works excellent and gives you full zoom and focus control as well as variable zoom rate control, record start/stop, LED indicator, and will power on and off your camera (this feature may or may not be compatible with all Canon/Sony cameras though). Very solid controller. Just too big for my current needs. Brand new this retails for over $200 at B&H.
