Is it just me, or is anyone else getting tired…and I mean really bone tired of the inane, namby pamby, politically correct drivel I keep hearing our Commander-in-Chief spout? It almost seems he needs a bib to keep the drool off of his chin when he speaks like this. If we didn’t know before that he really thinks he is the smartest guy on the planet, you just need to watch that video.

He is, after all, supposed to be in the vanguard of those willing to protect and defend our Constitution and country.

Someone asks a straight forward and pertinent question regarding the President’s opinion on jihad and all he can come up with is:

“Well, the phrase Jihad has a lot of meanings within Islam, and is subject to a lot of different interpretations.”

We are a decade into this war. He has tried “playing nice” for two years and still doesn’t get it. THEY STILL WANT TO KILL US!

Enough already with calling a hole in the ground “A negative terrestrial space with a roughly circular perimeter”. I would like to hear things said clearly once in a while. I’m betting our allies would appreciate the same. If you were aligned with the United States, would you have confidence in language like that?
    I doubt it.

Plain English will do just fine, Sir.

I don't really think he's capable of giving a straight answer. If he answered "yes/no", it wouldn't help me much. I only think he's lying, when his lips move.

He's the most arrogant POTUS I could ever imagine us electing. I hope all those who voted for him are happy with all this hope and change.

I wonder what would happen if only the contributing would be allowed to vote??????

hopefully he will keep getting beat up in pickup basketball games. at least if he's playing basketball, he's not ruining this great country with his stupid agenda.

only two more years, and he will be able to stand tall and proud with jimmy carter as the two worst presidents in american history

I've been saying for years......no representation - without taxation.

In other words....if you don't pay taxes, you shouldn't be allowed to vote to take money from those who are (paying taxes), just to fund your way of life. It's akin to the inmates running the assylum.

That would never work because it makes sense. Funny how that works.

Try being active duty and dealing with the continuous indecision/continuous decision change. I've been in for over 7 years now, so I've seen two different presidents, and the difference between them is amazingly noticeable.

You volunteered for your service.....and you were paid for it. And, the taxpayers paid your wages I might add.

Don't cheapen the US armed forces by making them appear to simply be a product of a welfare state.

It's pretty simple......If you don't contribute to the bottom line, you shouldn't be able to dictate how the money's handled. And, you definitely shouldn't be able to vote yourself a handout at the expense of someone else. The US Gov't doesn't have a F'n penny to give to anyone..........that it didn't take from someone else. I'm not alright with that. Some are. Fundamental ideological differences.

I diden't say that "You Did" and it don't surprise me none that you would use them just to take a poke at me. LOL

Its a real world out there with real world problems, unless you want to grind up the sick, poor and elderly for dog food, we need thinkers and doers, problem solvers, not whiners and cry babys.

I didn't take a poke at you (knowingly).

I'll take a "paying" whiner and a "paying" cry-baby........over the non-paying thinkers, any day. The problem is -- the current "thinkers" attitude is that he can garnish more votes by taking money from the "payers" to pay the non-paying whiners and the non-paying cry-babies. Now....a non-paying whiner/crybaby......now, you've struck a nerve.

Just wait until January. If no action is taken, you’ll see a nice little bump in “your fare share”. If it goes through, it will be the largest tax increase in the history of the United States.

If that’s not good enough for 'ya, just hang around until that wonderful “health care reform” kicks in. I don’t know about anyone else but my premiums are going up 20% this year (again) AND the benefits are slimmer (again) AND the deductible is higher (again).

My local property, fuel, phone and sales taxes all are going up too (Democrat controlled state...again).

All this AND a 20% reduction in my take home pay.

Yep, I’m just basking in the glory of our new socially and economically just society.

In case you may be confused, that’s not whining, that’s just the facts.

Well....some will be burdened. And, some will be beneficiaries. The problem I have is......the beneficiaries being able to vote their own benefits in.

If you have no stake in the funding, it's a no-brainer vote.....huh?

Sliv....I thank you for your service to our country (sincerely). And, I have no beef with you (personally). I hope you believe that, because it's true.

Like I said, we just have a fundamental difference in ideologies. The US gov't. can't give a cent to any person...that they haven't taken from another person. I just wish everyone kept that in mind.

The US dollar "ain't what it used to be". My home/property isn't worth what it used to be. I'm not selling. But, to say I haven't taken a "hit" would be a mistake. I'm guessing anyone who owns property has taken one. What bothers me is people with no stake (i.e. nothing to lose).....having the same vote I have. You think they care if I take a hit.......as long as it doesn't affect them?
