I have recently moved to Green Oaks in Lake County on approximately 5 acres. Does anyone know the local regulations for bowhunting deer? I know the state regulations but am concerned that there are local or county regulations that I am unaware of. Basically, trying to find out if I can hunt deer in my backyard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
wecome to the forum! although i am from illinois i am from white co and dont know about any restrictions in lake co. i would get on IDNR website and look around for your county
I live in Wadsworth IL in Lake County and in my Village you can Bowhunt but it needs to be at least 10 arces.Each village town city has their own regulations and should be on their website.
