I live 5 miles from Coles Creek. Too bad we are going to Table Rock Lake that weekend, I would have enjoyed seeing the weigh in. Kill all those bigheads!! :D
We used to go down to Table Rock to shoot carp. Big carp in crystal clear water. Have fun! I really need to move to Missouri. Any tips on where to find carp on Carlyle? I've shot bigheads at the spillway but never been on the main lake at all.
Patoka boat docks, its north of Coles Creek. There is some standing timber in the shallows, we shot alot there when I was in HS. Lots of carp and gar there.
Patoka boat dock has a ramp there. Take Boulder Rd N from Coles Creek. Go through Boulder and cross the tracks, hang the next left. You'll be heading north, go around the curve to the east and go 1 mile to the T road. Hang a left (heading north again) and go past East fork and North fork creeks. You'll come to a cross road, keep heading north. At the next cross road (blue house with pole barn on your left) take a left and head west. Go through Crackers Neck ( not joking lol) and you will be at Patoka Boat Ramp. The fish are usually south of the ramp in the timber. I know it sounds like I was totally trying to get you lost, but its really easy to find, I swear. :D
