I am looking to buy my fiance her first bow. She is 5'1'' so I need something with short draw. I would like something with alot of draw weight range. Ive been looking at the razor edge, hoyt kobalt, pse chaos, fred bear apprentice. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

You could also look at the Bear Homewrecker.

My gf has the razors edge and loves it. Can't speak for the other ones you listed.

She just shot the bear apprentice at bass pro and likes it a lot. Going to shcheels to try to get her to shoot a few more! She was getting good groups with the bear. I better practice up!

i have yet to let her know about it, but i got my wife the Hoyt Ruckus, it has a DL range from 18-28", and i believe it is adjustable from 25-50Lbs. it seems to be the most adjustable of the "ladies" bows i looked at. i think shes really gonna like it. good luck.

She fell in love with the apprentice so that is what she got! Got to earn brownie points haha. Draw length is adjustable from 19-27 i believe. something like that. And draw weight from 20-50 pounds. She cant wait to smoke me she said! Its on.

I bought my wife a Elite Hunter at 40-50 lbs. She shot it at the ATA show and fell in love with it

Just got the Hoyt Kobalt for my wife. She loves it, and I have to admit I'm extremely pleased with the quality of this purchase as well. She's 5'3'' pulling 40#'s at 25'' draw length. The Bow came set at 26" draw length and 50# but will adjust from 40# to 60# and 24"-28" on draw length so its got plenty room to adjust as she becomes able to pull more weight. It's a very smooth drawing, light, and compact bow. I think it's perfect for female or youth archers who need highly adjustable draw weights. We ordered ours from Eagle Archery, LLC in Wisconsin. Shipping was 4$ ground freight and arrived as scheduled in 5 days. Couldnt be happier with the purchase.
