I get it in HD, should be good, I will check it out. Hey Justin when you guys do this show do all the contestants hunt the same property? If so, do you have to draw for areas or zones, like they do on the Tecomate Challenge with David Morris?

Campbell's owns and leases somewhere in the neighborhood of 20,000 acres of land around their lodge in Southern IL. That is broken up into probably 30-40 different tracks of land of various sizes from probably 80 acres to 200 acres. Each area is assigned a numer, and they are then drawn randomly out of hat in the order your team arrives into camp on the first day. So yes, we are all hunting the same general areas but the farms could be adjacent to each other, or as far as 20 miles away.

On the 3rd day of the challenge each team is also assigned a secondary spot, which has been pre-determined when the original spots were assigned numbers. This gives you the opportunity to bounce around if one place is better suited for mornings and the other for evenings, and allows you to not burn a place out.

In our case, we killed our two deer on our primary piece of ground within the first 3 hunts, so we never even saw our 2nd spot.

Last year Christine killed her doe on our primary spot, then I killed a doe and buck on our secondary spot.

And yes, we won our event the past two years.

No, we're not going back this year. As much fun as it is, we want to focus on hunting our own ground this fall and putting down a few of the bucks we saw this season. We have more fun doing a "full" type of hunt, not just come in, scout, hang stands, kill deer, then leave. We've already proven we can do that. :D

    Oh man.. that was great.

Every other team was trying to be all "bad" looking and tough guyish.. and then there's JZ and I.

We were laughing hysterically during this whole thing. How can you not?

So when they show JZ and his close up.. he's like trying to hold in a smile.. and when they show me.. I'm just plain old laughing it up. I remember I kept asking the "director" what my motivation was. He didn't get it or looked at all amused.

If you watch closely at the bottom of the screen when they show Justins hunt.. you'll see JZ smiling and me doing the "Al Bundy" who once threw 4 TD's in a single High School game stance. Funny.. funny stuff.:d

I don't think JZ and I ever take ourselves seriously.:d

Can't wait til next week's show.

I know.. I do look kinda dorky. I was just laughing so hard the whole time.

Every other team was so serious about it all.

Sadly.. Justin and I were not. We just had fun. Laughing it up.

Somebody get Justins pic up here. The look on his face as he tries to hold in his smile is priceless.

It reminds me of Mike Myers in Wayne's World when he's counting down before going on air.. trying to hold out his word count without moving his lips.

I don't have the re-run schedule. But you can just set your DVR for next week Wednesday. Same time.. same channel. Then the following week is the last episode from this year.

    You'll get plenty of us.

    I'm out. Going sheddin'...

Man, I had Vs as a sample channel a few weeks back, and now it's gone. Congrats to you guys, though!
