Had the lone wolf hand climber. Loved the light weight and how compact it was but it was brutal
    to climb with.

I tried a Lone Wolf Sit and Climb once and hated it. I’m sure it would have been comfortable, but that rubber strap made it much more difficult to climb with.

I have a two person ladder stand on my property, I freaking love hunting out of it. Tons of room and you're setup in nothing flat. But they're a pain to move around. I mainly leave mine in the same spot year after year.

I also have a climber. It isn't too bad and being mobile of course helps to get where you need to be for current conditions, but I'd take sitting in the ladder stand any day.

The mobility of the climber definitely means I hunt out of it more though.

Im about 99 percent hang and hunt with my lock on and saddle. But do have a rare occasion i need a ladder. One time was a hedge row with almost no trees. The trees that were there were completely covered in vines, so almost impossible to get a stand in with out destroying the whole hedge row. So i took a 9 foot ladderstand and leaned it up into the vines and straped it to them. The day i put it up, i shot my #1 target buck. Then between me and a buddy, we shot 5 bucks out of that ladderstand that season. It was the only way to hunt it.

I love how comfortable climbers are ... however, Im in many locations that climber would never work and thus you have to hunt for a 'tree' instead of hunt the location... the only working climber that I use is a sit and climb Muddy Stalker, switched the seat out to mesh/added a stabilizing strap and it is great for long sits .. ... Ive used it maybe 4 times ... did kill a doe using my older Summit about 11yrs back or so, it was the open front. I liked hunting from it, but it wore me out getting up the tree, when I could find a tree in the right place .. out of the locations I hope to be in this season, there isnt one where a climber would work ... so once again it will be the LW Alpha II/4sticks+2 step aider .... I'll keep looking for a good climber spot where it dosnt look like others have been, those tree's I can spot 50yds away with all the teeth marks ..
