I am looking into a new rubber boot. Any opinions on which are better for general walk into stand and stand anywear from 3hours to all day? From 0deg up to 60 deg. Durability? I am leaning towards the Aerohead 7mm as I think they are lighter than the alpha burly pros.

That either means you love them or they wear out fast. How many years did you get out of them?

I love my Areoheads. My are 3.5 and I wear them most of the season. For temps as low as, 0 you my want to go with the 7mm. They may be a little warm at 60, but they would be much better at 0. Good luck.

I have 3.5 aeroheads also. If you plan on walking soft ground/mud I would not recommend them. My feet killed after a day Turkey hunting while it was muddy. If solid ground they are the most comfortable boot I've used. Love them for field hunting waterfowl to.

I love them. I got 5 years out of my first pair doing everything from scouting, hunting, shed hunting and turkey hunting in them. Super warm, waterproof and durable.

I have the Aeroheads 3.5 mm. They are really good for walking and IMHO are decent boots. I like them for early season to the end of October depending on temps. We had some really cold days in November and my feet froze so I had to upgrade to my Irish setters. I would recommend you buy both sets though. Can't go wrong with LaCrosses!
