LaCrosse Aerohead Boots

I've got some Gander Mountain gift cards and I've decided to use them on the LaCrosse Aerohead boots. Now question is should I go with the 3.5 mm or the 7mm. I'd like to use them up to November so I'm just wondering how warm are they.

 

Depends on you really. I have the 3.5s and they are great

 

My feet never got cold with the 3.5s and good socks. But again I didn't hunt in anything under the teens really.

 

I'm pretty good as far as the cold goes, but I'm worried about sweating into the stand in the boots and also I'm thinking about when it gets into the twenties by us.

 

Get the 3.5s.

 

Is there a gram of thinsulate that is equivalent to 3.5s? Like is it equivalent to 800 grams?

 

I asked that same question when I bought mine at bass pro last year...but unfortunately I can't remember the answer.

 

Also is there a boot dryer that is recommended?

 

I have the 7mm and I'm prob gonna buy another pair of the 3.5

 

3.5s work great. My feet never get cold and they work well in the early season with some really thin socks here in NC.
