I have them and like em.

They are comfortable, light, and warm if you get the 1000 gram thinsulate.

I have a pair of them and love them. They fit really well and I haven't had any leaks. I'm going on my 4th season with them and I do a lot of walking. A lot of spot and stalk which I wouldn't normally do with rubber boots. I would absolutely make the exchange.

I've had the 1200 gram for at least 6 seasons...only wear when cold obviously, but I have yet to have cold toes in them, with just single layer of socks...I've hunted down to -15 with them...I would buy them again.

I have had the same pair for aleast 6 seasons maybe more. I got the uninsulated ones and thats keeps me good down to thirty. I walked through water almost up to the top of them this morning still no leaks.

    Love them!

Mine zipper down the inside calf which makes them a JOY to not only wear but to put on and off.

Hell I bought the Dream Season Boot and rarely wear them and they are like wearing sneakers. My LAB's are just too damn nice.

I personally found they don't have a tall enough roof for your foot. I guess my foot arch's more than most, because there is enough pressure from the boot on the top of my foot to nearly cut off circulation. My feet try to fall asleep if I am not walking around.

I'm too cheap to buy new boots though. :D

I have had the 1000 gram alpha burlys for two seasons and no problems or leaks. They are very comfortable and sturdy. The only issue I have experienced with them is that they make my feet sweat alot, no matter how cold it is, but that is on me...the boots are great.

I have a very high arch and while my feet don't lose circulation, I do think it cuts off the air flow through the boot, and I think that is what makes my feet sweat. It creates a seal around my ankle and top of my foot that doesn't allow the boot to breathe. That or I just have swamp foot, but I've never had that issue with other boots. ????

ok i went ahead and got them, they do feel alot nice & fit better than the itasca boots. the guy at gander said they have a ton of problems with the itasca boots leaking. but the top of the lacross boots are alot tighter, do you guys have problems tucking your pants into the boots? I have to cross 2 creeks to get to my stand so I have to tuck my pants in

I have the uninsulated alphas. My arch is high as well so I pull the inserts out and use them that way. I put probably over 100 miles on my last pair before they fianlly split along the side where they flex. They fit great and I can / do walk all day in them day after day during rifle season. When I bought my new pair I tried on many pairs until I found a right and left that both fit perfect. I actually bought a right from one box and a left from another :)

Me too, I'm a Muck wearer! I thought the AB were a bit on the heavy side!

What ever you get pick up a boot dryer or they will rot from the inside out, then leak!
