Matt we will be taking 80 through Nebraska. It would be cool to meet up but I'm not sure how the timing will work for us. I can let you know though. Mitch nice buck you sent in Groupme. I feel like it gets chaotic in the chat at times so I figured I would reply to you guys all at once on here instead this time. Sorry if that just defeated the purpose of it . It isn't that difficult I just confuse myself at times .
The cool temps that we have moving in have me wishing I could get in a tree. This week/weekend is booked solid but next week I should have a day I could maybe get a hunt in if the weather cooperates. Anyone else able to deer hunt yet?
Saturday is the Wisconsin opener. I wasn't going if it was going to be in the 80's but, Mid 60's and a new moon, I'll be there!
Opener is the 19th here in MN. I'll be in CO going after those mighty wapiti though. First hunt will be either the last weekend in September when I get back or later in the week. Hung a couple more sets yesterday and checked a couple cams. The tall 8 with the mass is still showing up pretty regular and he picked up a couple younger bucks also. The batteries in that cam died so the last picture was the 27th of August. Changed the batteries and I won't check it now until I hunt that spot. The other cam had nothing but does and it has been that way all summer. I will save that set for late October-early November. I have a ton of confidence in my spots. I do not have a ton of confidence in my set ups. If that makes sense. Can't wait to start getting after it and see what happens.
Drenman, I will definitely give you all a bio and stories tomorrow when I am home and not travelling. I am excited to be with your team. Is there a unique stamp our team has so I can change my signature to match as you can see my team last year.
