Meat hunting is great by me, good luck out there! I have no real desire to be the team captain, all I did was get things rolling. Hammer threw out Kyudo Killers with a pretty cool logo, see below. Anyone else have a team name they want to throw in the ring?
I guess I could tell everyone a little about me. I,m in West Michigan but I hunt in Ionia County. I hunt with my son inlaw now. and he got me started on this site 3 years ago. We hunt on 28 acres. We have done alright for our selves. We are meat hunters first. But always looking for a nice buck. We have several nice bucks on trail cams so far. I like the logo too. Just a suggestion for a name would be "Death from above"
I think death from above fits the logo perfectly. If we went with kyudo killers we should change the logo to something with a samurai in it. I'm terrible with the computer graphics stuff so I'm just here for ideas haha.
I just checked our deer cams today. Was disappointed. Very few deer pic at all and no bucks to get excited about. Couple weeks ago check the cams and had 4 differnet 8pt or better... I'm sure they are around. We have a lot of corn around us this year. I looking forward to the season! so who's our captain? And we'd did we settle on for a team name? Has anyone on the team used GroupMe?
I vote short for team captain. For team name I like 'death from above' because it fits the logo nicely. And I have no idea what GroupMe even is.
Guys, Death from Above has been used many times, like every season. Something original would be nice, IMO. We still have some No-shows? I know buck jeezy is a long time member, not sure about the other one.
Ok officially changing my vote. Kyudo Killers it is! I just want a decision made so we can start focusing on the important thing. Killing big bucks!!!
I agree with kyudo killers, and also agree with short for captain! Checked my 3 cams today... Got a descent 8 point, a funky looking 8 point, and then some smaller bucks.
I vote Short for captain as well. I am going to check my camera tomorrow, so hopefully I have some good news to report back.
Groupme is like a chat room for small groups. It's pretty easy to use. Just download the app and PM your number. I have the group set up and can start adding everyone's number. Coincidently I just realized Bobcat031 and I were on the same team two years ago. We finished third that year. I will work on getting our logo completed this week and let everyone sign off on it/suggest changes before posting it as Groupme avatar.
Ok, I will assume the roll of captain. Let me know when the logo is ready. I will let Fitz know whats up with team 18.
If you want to add a samurai essence to the avatar that would be cool. Maybe a long bow, or to keep it modem, leave the compound, but add a samurai's helmet and face mask. Idk what you are able to do and if you just want to leave it the way it is I am fine with that too cause it is pretty bad *** the way it is. Aside from that, I went to check my camera today and hang my stand. I forgot to turn my camera on when I checked it last, so no pics. And I found a coyote den about 60 yards from my camera. On the bright side, my stand is hung and shooting lanes are trimmed. There are deer droppings everywhere so I am not concerned about the coyotes den. Gonna check my camera next week and maybe hang another stand. Saw two nice 8's on the way in so I know there is activity close to my stand. Anyone else do prep work today?
