I've been watching my farm alot the past 2 weeks and have noticed a big difference in the deer activity. Smaller bucks are starting to chase a little bit and i have even seen a few fights. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced a change in the woods. I am hoping to put a big boy down before I deploy next month and was hoping i wasn't getting excited for nothing.
i have seen smaller bucks chasing does, witnessed fights, and i have called two smaller bucks in within the last week. so i would say we are on the virge of pre rut and rut will be kicking in when the cold sets in i would suppose.
